Calvary Chapel North Stafford is an outreach fellowship of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, http://www.calvarychapelcostamesa.com/ where Pastor Chuck Smith serves as the senior pastor. Pastor Chuck Smith is also Steve's Pastor. In October of 2004, CCNS held its first Sunday Morning Service in a small conference room inside the Comfort Inn located on 610 (Garrisonville Rd). Since then CCNS has enjoyed God's hand of grace to add to His church daily those who are being saved (Acts 2:47), as well as His faithfulness in pruning the branch that is bearing fruit, so that it may bear more fruit (John 15:2).
CCNS is a fellowship of likeminded believers who are missions-minded. Our calling has always been to reach not only Stafford County, VA for Jesus Christ, but also all of the world through our support of missionaries all over the world in places such as the Gaza Strip, China, Ukraine, Mexico, S. Africa, and even England. However, Pastor Steve knows in order to accomplish our call to reach the world for Christ through missions, CCNS has to be a body of believers that is well fed and well cared for, thus Pastor Steve is committed to his ultimate calling to equip the sheep and to feed the sheep at CCNS. As was the case with Pastor Chuck Smith, Pastor Steve's heart's desire is to have the most educated, well fed and well cared for flock in all of Stafford County, so that we, acting as one body, having Christ as our head can effectively reach the world for Jesus Christ. |
